We are pleased to offer a bespoke Commission service, allowing you to create the jewellery of your dreams through consulting with goldsmith Steven Dennis on your specific requirement.

Because every piece is individually hand-made it allows your creation to evolve choosing sizes & colours and grades of precious metal i.e. Silver, 9ct, 18ct or 22ct, white or yellow gold, platinum & precious stones etc.

This handmade service direct to our customers enables us to maintain the highest quality jewellery at competitive prices. We offer uncompromising high standards and individual attention.

Handmade is a bold statement to make, and one that Steven Dennis trading as Som, stamps a mark of authority on. Throughout his expansive hand-made work every piece starts from a ‘birthing process’ pieces are not formed from casting or cut from tubing as most other jewellers. Instead every piece is made entirely from raw material making every ring a creation in its own right. For all orders for pairs of wedding rings they will both begin life from the same piece of solid raw material, whether that be gold (9ct, 18ct, 22ct, white, rose), silver, platinum. The raw material will then be split to form each ring or giftware piece ordered, and 100% hand made using all the traditional goldsmith skills.

This service also allows you the chance to further personalize your rings by choosing to having your rings engraved with a personnel message or wedding date inside, and is then finished with the hall mark and Stevens unique makers mark, with the year of the commission.
